Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, or by using the Service in any way, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Registration requires you to affirmatively accept both documents, and we record the date and version you accepted.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, including sanctions and export control law, or if we have previously terminated your account.

3. Invite codes and accounts

saturn.faith is invite-only. Invite codes are personal, single-use, non-transferable, and have no monetary value. Selling, auctioning, or bulk distributing invite codes is prohibited and may result in termination of both the issuing and redeeming accounts.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. Do not share your account, create accounts by automated means, or register a username that impersonates another person, brand, or member of staff. Tell us promptly at saturnfaithlegal@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Your content and the licence you grant us

You keep all ownership of the content you post — your text, images, audio, video, and profile configuration ("Your Content"). We claim no ownership in it.

To operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, cache, reproduce, resize, transcode, adapt for display, and publicly display and distribute Your Content, solely for the purpose of running, securing, backing up, and promoting the Service. This licence lasts while Your Content is on the Service and for a reasonable period afterwards to allow for cache and backup expiry, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to that expiry.

You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights necessary to post Your Content and to grant this licence, and that Your Content does not infringe any third party's rights or violate any law.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to create, upload, transmit, link to, or facilitate any of the following:

• content that sexually exploits or endangers minors, in any form. This is reported to the appropriate authorities and results in immediate, permanent termination;
• non-consensual intimate imagery, content depicting or promoting real violence, terrorism, or self-harm, or content that promotes hatred against or dehumanises people on the basis of a protected characteristic;
• harassment, stalking, targeted abuse, threats, or the publication of another person's private information ("doxxing") without their consent;
• content that infringes copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or any other right, including unlicensed music, ripped media, and pirated software;
• malware, exploit code, phishing pages, credential harvesting, cryptominers, or deceptive redirects;
• spam, unsolicited advertising, pyramid schemes, fraudulent goods or services, or content designed to mislead about who you are or who operates the page;
• attempts to break, degrade, or gain unauthorised access to the Service: probing or scanning, defeating rate limits or authentication, denial-of-service, automated scraping, reverse engineering beyond what the law permits, or interfering with other members' use of the Service;
• abuse of the storage, bandwidth, or custom CSS features — including using saturn.faith as a general file host or CDN, or injecting styles or scripts intended to deceive, obscure moderation, or attack visitors.

Where a feature permits mature or graphic content, it must still be lawful in your jurisdiction and in ours, must not involve real minors, and must be marked and handled as required by the feature. We may remove anything we consider a risk to the Service or its members.

6. Anonymous features

Features that present submissions anonymously to other members are not anonymous to us. We retain the technical records needed to investigate abuse and to comply with legal process, and we will act on them where a submission breaks these Terms or the law.

7. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on saturn.faith infringes your copyright, send a notice to saturnfaithlegal@gmail.com that includes: identification of the work; the URL of the material; your contact details; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them; and your physical or electronic signature.

We will remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid notice and notify the member who posted it. That member may submit a counter-notice with the equivalent information, in which case we may restore the material unless the complainant initiates legal action. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

8. Moderation, suspension, and termination

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate an account — with or without notice — if we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken, if required by law, or if an account creates a security, legal, or operational risk. Where it is practical and lawful to do so, we will tell you why and give you a way to respond.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Termination ends your licence to use the Service; sections 4 (as to backups and caches), 9 through 16 survive termination.

9. Availability, changes, and data

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis by a small operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature, impose storage or bandwidth limits, or take the Service offline for maintenance, at any time. We do not guarantee uptime, and we do not guarantee that uploads will be retained indefinitely. Keep your own copies of anything you care about; we are not a backup service.

10. Third-party services

Profiles can embed or query third-party services such as Spotify, SoundCloud, Discord, and Mojang. Those services are controlled by their own operators under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control them, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for them. Links posted by members are likewise not endorsed by us.

11. Fees

Access is currently provided free of charge. If we introduce paid features, the price, billing terms, and any refund policy will be presented before you buy, and buying is always optional. Virtual items such as badges, levels, and backings are a licence to use a cosmetic feature within the Service, have no cash value, and are not redeemable, transferable, or refundable except where the law requires it.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content posted by members is accurate or lawful. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR CONTENT, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD 100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party and arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the state or territory in which the operator resides, excluding conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the UK, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at saturnfaithlegal@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty days.

16. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service. Nothing here creates a partnership, employment, or agency relationship.

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version, material changes will be announced on the site, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, delete your account.
